Mercer Medicine accepts most major health insurance plans and will attempt to verify benefits on our patients' behalf. However, patients are responsible for verifying insurance coverage prior to their office visit. Patients are responsible for all charges incurred that are not covered by third parties or insurance providers. Payment for all services provided is due at the time services are rendered.

We accept the following methods of payment:

  • Cash
  • Personal Check
  • Visa or Mastercard debit and/or credit cards
  • Money Orders
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards

Outstanding Patient Account Balances

If a payment plan has not been established within 45 days on an outstanding patient account balance, then the patient account balance will be transferred to a third party collection service and reported to the credit bureaus.
