Lab services in central and south Georgia

With in-office lab services available at every Mercer Medicine location, we make it easy for you to get the testing you need to keep you and your family healthy.

Mercer Medicine has a contract with Quest Diagnostics. It is your responsibility to inform us if your insurance requires working with a different lab.

Test Preparation

Sometimes special preparation is required to improve the accuracy of your test and may involve fasting, limiting fluids, or avoiding certain medications. Your healthcare provider should give you instructions for preparing for your test. It is essential to follow these instructions carefully. If you have questions about your test, please contact your healthcare provider.

COVID-19 Testing

Our Downtown Macon location offers on-site PCR testing for COVID-19. You will receive the results within 48 hours (about two business days). We can help you determine if a COVID-19 test is needed.
