R. Alan Williams, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist and associate professor of psychiatry and pediatrics at Mercer University School of Medicine. Before joining Mercer Medicine, he practiced in a hospital setting for 10 years. He consults with several local and state agencies as a psychologist and provides evaluations and psychological testing for children, adults, and families. Dr. Williams has worked with his wife Tonya, a psychometrist, for over 25 years. They have three sons who are all Mercer University graduates, as well as two grandchildren.
