John Hawkins, MD

A native of Roberta, Georgia, John Hawkins, MD comes from a long line of medical service, with six physicians in his family. Prior to joining Mercer Medicine in 2011, Dr. Hawkins spent 30 years as managing partner of Central Georgia Heart Center. In his free time, Dr. Hawkins loves spending time with his wife Kathy and their three daughters and four grandsons. He’s a deacon at New Heights Baptist Church, vice president of the Mercer Athletic Association, and founding member of the Middle Georgia Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
