All Providers

Emma Patterson, LMFT, is a compassionate and experienced therapist who helps individuals and families build stronger connections, develop resilience and create meaningful change in their lives. She provides therapy to clients across Georgia through telehealth, making it easier to get care from the comfort of home. Emma also partners with schools in rural communities to offer counseling services to students who might otherwise have limited access to care.

She provides therapy for teens (16+), college and graduate students, adults and neurodivergent individuals. Her areas of focus include:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Family conflict
  • Grief and loss
  • Life transitions
  • Neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, and more)
  • Stress management
  • Women's issues

Emma is also passionate about offering gender-affirming care and creating a safe, inclusive space for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Emma’s approach is collaborative—she views therapy as a team effort between client and therapist. She believes that her role is to help patients uncover patterns that may be keeping them stuck and develop practical tools for growth and self-compassion.

Outside of her work, Emma enjoys reading, watching movies, painting with watercolors and exploring new foods and restaurants.
